This is a message from the Unofficial Emergency Warning System.  Squaw Valley USA is undergoing some bizarre circumstances.  Namely, that the resort is skiing extremely well and we haven’t had a storm in over 3 days.  The usual mank, bumps, and general skied-out-ness that we are used to post storm is non-existant.

I skied Enchanted Forest over and over and over today and it would not submit and become bad skiing.  Every run was perfect Colorado-style blower crud that was spraying cold smoke until we gave up trying to make it suck.  I wasn’t hitting bottom, I was still finding patches of powder, and the crud was perfect.  Huge smoke trails were following me everywhere making it tough for others to see how crappy my form is.  A bonus for everyone.

Check out this video of Brandon Walsh pulling off 15 Spread Eagles in one KT-22 lap.  This is the stuff of legends, humans!
