The inbounds skiing on Jackson is still recovering.  The upper elevations north facing shots still have a chalky softer base for this new snow to sit upon.  But, most of the mountain still needs more snow to cover up this hard base left from the warm week.  If you are willing to do some walking or skinning, there is still some great snow.  If you want to wait for the snow to accumulate, there are plenty of activities planned all weekend for the Winterfest.  Today there were the Cutter Races and an air show.  Tomorrow you can check out Ice Rink Dodgeball or watch the finals for the JRs Freeski Comp.  Either way, the snow is adding up and it will be epic again soon.
