Well, we made it through a brutal several days with no significant snowfall and now it’s on again. Snow should persist on and off at least through Tuesday with particularly heavy snowfalls on Sunday and Tuesday. So, if you’re looking to tie one on this weekend, maybe think twice because it’s gonna be good. But, hey, skiing hung over is still skiing.  So, if you’re looking to get your party on I’d point you in these general directions:

Friday and Saturday, January 14th and 15th, 7:00PM: Moose Hockey. Watch the Moose beat up on the New York St. Nicks for $8 at the Snowking Center. It’s entertaining, cheap, and you can sneak in beer.

Saturday January 15th, 8:00PM: Jackson Hole Snowboarder Magazine Party. If you haven’t been to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, you really haven’t been to Jackson. Worried about getting your ass kicked by a cowboy? Not this Saturday. The Jackson Hole Snowboarder Magazine Party benefits the JH Ski & Snowboard Club and features the musical styling of hip-hop-rock Interscope recording artists FreeSol, singer-songwriter Kelley James, and El Gant & J Blanc. Although I can’t guarantee you wont get your ass kicked, it wont be by anyone wearing Wranglers.

January 15-17th: USSA Wes Barron Speed Series. Come check out JH Ski Club’s finest rip up the Super G course off AV. They don’t have drivers licenses, but they can still speed.

Friday January 14th: DJ, Town Square Tavern. No sh#t this is the description the tavern posted- no further information is apparently needed. I’m sure the actual description would read something like this “DJ playing mix of Top 40, Classic Rock, and Dance. Drunk chicks that want to dance and awkward white guys trying to cop feels. If you’re looking for strange this is the place to be. No cover.”
