The third and final Shooting day of Deep Winter and the worst morning weather by far. We woke up to pouring rain in the village and it didn’t become snow until half way up the mountain (1700m). The Temp hovered around freezing all day but the amount of moisture made it feel much colder. Although it was heavy there was a enough for some thick powder turns in the morning and some nice fresh lines through the higher trees. Due to heavy winds Peak-2-Peak didn’t open and neither did the alpine. At about 2 pm the clouds broke and the sun came out allowing all the photographers that one last chance to get that awesome photo.
