Squaw didn’t make the list, but who cares. We have the chimney.

  2. JayBalls says:

Seems like WA should have hyped up there season more. I know it was snowing up there, but I didn’t see much video/photo/chimney evidence?

  3. eh says:

thats cuz it just rains a lot.. ruins all the snow.

  4. Peter says:

    Eaglecrest, AK is one word!

  5. K-Factor beaches says:

I rest my case. the argument is “officially” over

  6. extreme gaper says:

    #10 represent!

  7. amnesiak says:

hey, you shouldn’t count alpental & snoqualmie both, or you should count snoqualmie at its base. The measurement is good for alpental, but snoqualmie should probably be around 130″ or so.

  8. Ski nut says:

Stevens Pass Washington was at 191″ and 598″ for the year but did not make the list?

  9. wain says:

Neglecting our beloved Stevens Pass, WA. Just the way we like it !

  10. Eric says:

The last post about biggest snow packs from Unofficial neglected to include Stevens and several other resorts. This time Stevens is out once again left out, and I’m sure its not the only error. Get your act together…

  11. bullshit says:

There is no way that Kirkwood has an almost 200 inch base. Did any of you watch the comp there last weekend? Looking real thin there.

  12. Sean says:

    Ooops…you forgot Schweitzer…Again. 211″ max base. Closed with 205″

  13. Anonymous says:

it rains in WA all the time. the snow is super heavy and wet and shitty. better to head inland.

  14. Alpental says:

Alpy was so sick this year. So was Crystal and Baker. Dec and Jan made me think the winter was gonna blow. It did however rain everyday from Feb to about last week in the lowlands. Didnt see the sun much for most of the start of 2012!

  15. Eric says:

Schweitzer!? Don’t go there, they don’t get any snow, and it’s foggy every day.

  16. im more rad than u says:

Thanx 4 down playing AK and ur bullshit snow reporting I personally know the # via snow safety and ur off. how bout reporting how much snow actually fell. Baker start s “recording” a month before us. Ahh screw it we dont need any more SLC or Tahoe Joey’s up here just come up for ur week or two dream trip. And what u pussys aren’t strong enough to ski wet snow u probably ski dry pow on pontoons and think ur a badass skier on ur training wheels.

    • radder says:

Is that proper “more rad than you” as opposed to “radder,” is “radder” not really a word like “funner?” You Alaskans have all the brains

  17. Jerrett says:

At least one B.C. ski hill that I have a seasons pass to got 276″ isn’t on this list :)

  18. Anonymous says:

hahah “Schweitzer doesn’t get any snow”…what a moron. Snow isn’t even a thought–all it does is rain. All the time. Endlessly.

We were literally swimming all season…as always.

Snowbird would usually be in the top ten!
