After a weekend of powder and waiting in long lines in the LCC it is a good time to sit back and check out some carnage from the Revelstoke comp. Dylan Crossman and CJ Wright were near the bottom of the pack heading into the finals on Mac Daddy Face in Revelstoke, BC for the Freeride/Freeskiing World Tour event, so they were trying to make big moves to improve their finish. Dylan and CJ chose a similar line, the burliest one of the entire comp, and both met the same fate. Way to give’r fellas!

If you are the type that talks trash on comp skiers I would like to watch you step up to this line and see what you can do on it. Both of these clips were filmed and posted to youtube by the good people at BigLines.com.

That’s pretty amazing to even attempt that line. I would stay skiers left and still be puckered. I want to see the POV footage.

Kevin Guri gets the prize for crash of the day though for sure. He skied it pretty well fall line and was skiing fast and smooth for the top pitch; unfortunately for him he landed his first air a bit front seat and tomahawked down the entire rest of the line- cliff bands and all. It is truly unbelievable that he was unhurt, but somehow he made it through unscathed! The post comp interview is worth watching for his description of the fall. (I make zee air and zen I make zee tumble)
